If I haven’t gotten a chance to meet you, my name is Hannah Shaffer. I was born and raised in South Carolina, with 3 siblings and wonderful parents. I graduated from Clemson University (go tigers!), have lived in Spain, Ecuador, California, and am currently living in New Zealand with my husband Charlie. I am passionate about Jesus, learning Spanish, and I love a good book.

I owe a lot of who I am to what I’ve learned by traveling. It taught me that there is so much beauty and life to be found in doing the thing that terrifies you. That taking risks and trying new things and asking for help is the way to grow. Traveling taught me that chasing my dreams is important.

That is what I aim to do with my art. To push myself creatively — to be bold and to share pieces of myself with the world. To get messy, to make mistakes, but to never be too scared to take the jump. My hope is that my work would inspire this messy, beautiful, exciting adventure inside of you. That we could take little steps and giant leaps together in this wonderful world we get to share.
